HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY PERIOD?

We have a warranty that covers manufacturing defects 12 months after the original date of purchase. If the parts of the watch or the mechanics do not work, and this is our fault, we will repair or replace your product. This does not apply if you caused the damage to the watch yourself. The warranty does not cover water damage, ordinary wear, batteries, accidental crystal damage, scratches, damage to the strap. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims, so keep receipt or order number.

WHAT KIND OF MOVEMENT DOES THE WATCH HAVE?

The development of own movement is very costly and knowledge-intensive. We use a Japanese Miyota Precision Quartzmovement from one of the leadingmanufacturers in the watch industry. This is one of the most common manufacturing models in the watch world and only few watch manufacturers produce their own movement.

IS THE WATCH RESISTANT?

Schipper watches, like most exclusive watches, are water resistant at 3 ATM. This means that they are suitable for everyday use. Resistant to splashes of water/rain. Should not be used for showering, swimming, swimming, snorkeling, working with water, fishing or diving.

WHAT KIND OF LEATHER ARE THE STRAPS MADE OF?

The leather straps are made of leather from cowhides.

WHAT KIND OF CRYSTAL IS USED?

The crystal is made of mineral. Mineral glass is common tempered crystal made of silica.

Most medium expensive watches have mineral crystal. This is ordinary crystal that has been treated chemically or with heat to withstand scratches.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT?

We use Sony SR626SW batteries. Batteries can be found in most electrical stores and also at watchmakers and jewellers. You can get help with the battery replacement of any watchmaker or jeweler. We recommend that you do not change the battery yourself because some special tools are needed so that you do not damage the watch.

INTRODUCTION

These termsand conditions apply to your purchases from and your use of www.schipperwatch.com website and constitute an agreement between you and Schipper Watch, the company's VAT number SE670817871701, Skogshöjdsvägen 11, 43491 Kungsbacka, Sweden (hereinafter referred to as Schipper Watch). By purchasing from and using this website, you have agreed to these Terms of Use. Make sure you have read and understood these Terms of Use when using our website.

 

 

CONFIRMATION

Once we receive your order, we will send an electronic invoice to your email address to confirm your purchase. It is important that you enter the correct email address when placing an order. We recommend that you save this email to facilitate any future contact with customer service. The order confirmation (receipt) also serves as a proof of purchase.

 

 

PAYMENT

You can pay by either credit or credit card. Stripe handles all our bank transactions. Schipper Watch does not store credit card numbers.

 

PAYMENT BY CARD

Pay securely over the internet with your Visa, AMEX or MasterCard. Your payment is handled by Stripe with secure encryption and according to strict bank standards. Your card information is sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank. Schipper Watch does not charge any additional costs for card payments. However, your bank may charge an additional fee depending on your card and bank. When paying by credit and credit card, the terms and conditions will take effect as soon as the card transaction is approved. If no payment has been received after placing your order, Shipper Watch may automatically cancel your order.

 

 

DISCOUNT CODES

If you have discount codes, these must be entered at check-out to become valid. Attempts to add discount codes after purchase are not approved.

 

TAX

All prices on the Schipper Watch website, www.schipperwatch.com, are inclusive of VAT, in accordance with applicable law. For orders sent to addresses outside the EU, VAT will be deducted at checkout. Please note that if an order is sent to an address outside the EU, you may have to pay customs duties and taxes when you receive the shipment. You are responsible for paying off such duties and taxes. Please note that Schipper Watch cannot control these fees and as they change for each country, Schipper Watch cannot provide any amount for them in advance. Schipper Watch recommends that you contact your local customs office for further information.

 

ORDER

Orders placed in the name of another person, without his or her consent, will be notified to the authorities. Schipper Watch reserves the right to change prices, correct incorrect prices on all orders and on final sale. If a price is incorrect, you can ask Schipper Watch to cancel the purchase and refund any amount paid as desired. This can happen at any time.

Consumers have the right to return the order within 30 days of receipt. The right applies only if the product and original packaging can be returned in the same condition as on receipt. If consumers exercise the right to return an order, they should contact Schipper Watch to get the address to which the goods are to be sent. The return shipping is paid for by the consumer. If an item is damaged during transport, contact Schipper Watch within 30 days for information on compensation.

 

 

GUARANTEE

Warranty terms: One year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects on the watch itself (movement, case, crystal). Parts other than the above are not covered by this warranty. To receive compensation covered by this warranty, please use our contact form on the "contact us" page. In the email, you'll need to enter your name, address, order number, and a detailed description of the problem. Finally, please indicate the "refund of purchase" as the subject of the email or letter.

 

Please note that the repair/exchange will be charged in the following cases, even during the warranty period.

– Fault or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (blows, dents, crush injuries, broken glass, etc.)

– Failure or damage caused by unjustified repair or modification
– Faults or damage caused by fire or water, or natural disasters such as earthquakes
– External changes resulting from normal wear and tear (minor scratches and other things, on the case and/or glass, colour change on the strap and flaky surfaces)

DELIVERY AND CANCELLATIONS

Schipper Watch delivers worldwide. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the post office and their partners have the right to cancel the purchase and return the delivered goods by contacting Schipper Watch's customer service or using the contact form on the Schipper Watch website within 30 days of receipt of the goods(https://www.schipperwatch.com/contact),provided that the goods are unpacked and in the same condition as when you received them. However, the customer is responsible for the cost and risk of transporting the returned goods to Schipper Watch.

If you as a customer consider that the delivery is delayed so much that you no longer want to complete the purchase, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. If the order has been shipped, the customer is obliged to receive it. Cancellations are not valid until the customer has confirmed this with Schipper Watch either by email or phone.
